Still marching with the band.

There was no question what ultimate job Ted Brimeyer wanted in the Cyclone marching band. "I knew when I was a freshman I wanted to be a drum major. It just looked like a lot of fun." Ted wasn't afraid to go after his dream either. A former high school drum major, he made the final cut for Iowa State's drum major openings after his freshman year. And while he wasn't selected he kept trying and this past fall he completed his second season as one of the ensemble's three drum majors. "I laugh a lot at every rehearsal and have a lot of fun – probably more than I should."
