Such is the life of a Hollywood publicist. Publicists like Tim Menke are critical to the buzz a movie makes prior to its general theatrical release, particularly with the amount of revenue a film generates in its first few weeks in theatres. At Paramount Pictures in Hollywood, Tim is responsible for strategic development and execution of the publicity marketing campaigns for motion pictures. He works with the film's directors and actors, lining up interviews with major print publications and television. His Paramount office is covered with autographed posters of films he has worked on, including Academy Award-winning movies "Braveheart" and "Titanic," for which he has been honored with the Maxell Weinberg Showmanship Award for outstanding achievement in motion picture publicity.
