political science Standing toe-to-toe with law students. For some undergraduates working alongside law students at the U.S. Attorney General's Criminal Justice Division in Washington, D.C., may have been intimidating. Not so for Stephanie Noble. And she credits her Iowa State classes for preparing her for the summer internship. "I knew more about the law than the other interns and as much as many of the law students who were working there. I credit it to Dr. (Kathleen) Waggoneer's "Political Theory" class. And while she did her share of filing, Stephanie was also involved in a variety of cases including drafting motions, researching old cases and statutes, attending court with her supervisor and reviewing "jacket cases." |
