political science Rotary Scholar. Woman Impacting Iowa State. Barron Award winner. Rohini Ramnath's final year at Iowa State was one award after another. She was selected by the Catt Associates as one of 12 women who "impact Iowa State." Then the ISU Alumni Association named Rohini as a Wallace E. Barron All-University Senior Award recipient. But it was an off-campus award that has become her most prestigious honor. Instead of walking the Iowa State central campus, Rohini will spend next academic year at the University of Ghana after receiving the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship with a value up to $24,000. "I was interested in going to a culture that is not so familiar to me. I want to throw myself out there and see how I react." |
