  • What organizations can use 302 Catt Hall?
    Use of 302 Catt Hall is restricted to Iowa State University academic and administrative departments. Student organizations within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences may also request use of the conference room.

    PLEASE NOTE: First priority of room usage is given to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences' administrative offices locatd in Catt Hall.

  • What hours is the conference room available?
    Catt Hall is an administrative building and is open for business from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Groups are asked to utilize the conference room during those time periods.

  • When can I book the room?
    Reservations are preferred one month in advance.

  • Are there any restrictions in what type of meeting can be held in 302 Catt Hall?
    Regular, recurring meetings (such as a weekly seminar) can not be scheduled in 302 Catt Hall. This space is used primarily for special meeting/events.

  • What is the cost of using 302 Catt Hall?
    There is no fee for using the room.

  • How many people does the room seat?
    50 people can comfortably be seated in 302 Catt Hall.

  • Can food be served in 302 Catt Hall?
    Yes. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences asks that if a group brings food into 302 Catt Hall that they make the arrangements themselves. Afterwards it is the responsibility of the group to make sure all food items are disposed of properly.

    PLEASE NOTE: Inform the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences when booking the room that food will be served.

  • How can the room be arranged?
    Seating and tables in 302 Catt Hall may be adjusted to fit your meeting. Afterwards please re-set the room using this diagram, which is also posted inside 302 Catt Hall.

  • What type of technology is available?
    302 Catt Hall is equipped with the latest technology for meeting presentations including laptop connections, DVD/VCR, overhead projector and internet access. A complete listing of the technology available is on-line.
