Susan Faludi, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and former reporter for the Wall Street Journal, is the author of Backlash: The Undeclared War against American Women, which won the 1992 National Book Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction. She is also the author of Stiffed: The Betrayal of the American Man. Her new book, The Terror Dream examines the post-9/11 outpourings in the media and popular culture and how America's fear of home-soil terrorism has been the foundation of first one war and then another.
