| Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences Cheryl Lemke BS 1982 MS 1983 Meteorology Atlanta, Georgia Cheryl Lemke is an on-camera meteorologist with The Weather Channel. While at the network she has served as the co-host of the early morning program, "First Outlook." She holds both the American Meteorological Society's Seal of Approval and the National Weather Association's Seal of Approval for her on-air skills. When not on the air, Lemke spends her spare time bicycling, doing aerobics, or oil painting. She has also done some modeling and has been featured in print ads for trade publications and in Mirabella magazine. A native of Omaha, Neb., Lemke graduated from Iowa State with a B.S. in meteorology and a double minor in mathematics and psychology.
