    Sheila Lundt serves as the assistant city manager in the City of Ames and has dedicated her career to public service.

    Lundt has been a member of the Iowa City/County Management Association Board of Directors and is a current member of the League of Iowa Cities Education Committee.

    She is the recipient of the Dwight Ink Public Service Award from Iowa State University and was inducted into the Ames Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame in 1999.

    Lundt has also continued to be active with Iowa State. She served on the ISU President's Advisory Committee on Diversity for several years, is a member of the Order of the Knoll, has served as a VEISHEA advisor and was on the search committee that selected Gene Smith as Iowa State's athletic director.

    She has also been a member of the Department of Political Science's Public Policy and Administration Advisory Board since 2002.
