Communication Studies

  • Student majoring in Communication Studies will learn about the theories, concepts and practices of human communication. Courses focus on communication within organizations and among people with diverse cultural backgrounds.

    Students with a degree in Communication Studies have many career opportunities, especially positions requiring communication expertise. Human resource management, personnel training and development, sales, and international and intercultural relations are examples of jobs held by Communication Studies graduates.
