Communications Studies Majors Besides meeting all university and college requirements, students majoring in Communication Studies must meet the following specific requirements as prescribed in each catalog: 2003-05 UNIVERSITY CATALOG ComSt 101, Introduction to Communication Studies, 3 crs. Select one of these two courses: Upper Division Requirements (18 credits) ComSt 301, Human Communication Theory, 3 crs. Seminar Requirement (6 credits) Select any two of these 3 credit seminars: Additional Enhancement Requirement (4 credits) Stat 101, Principles of Statistics, 4 crs. (also fulfills college Gen Ed math requirement) 2005-2007 UNIVERSITY CATALOG ComSt 101, Introduction to Communication Studies, 3 crs.
