LAS Graduate Tuition Scholarship Policy

LAS will continue to provide full tuition scholarships for Ph.D. and M.F.A. students and 50% scholarships for M.S. and M.A. students that are on half-time assistantships. If the student's stipend is paid from some source other than an LAS 700 account, it is expected that that account will pay half of the scholarship provided by LAS (assuming this is allowed by the funding agency).

In order to be eligible for any tuition scholarships the students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater. Special exemptions to this might be granted for students with GPA greater than 2.9 under documented unusual circumstances. In this circumstance it is possible for the department to pay the tuition scholarship.
