The International Studies Program provides students with the opportunity
of declaring a second major or a minor in International Studies. Students
select foreign language options, take an introductory class and a capstone
seminar, specialize in one of the major areas of the world, and also concentrate
on a topical area (Development, Human Rights, Environment or one of the
other areas). This program provides significant opportunities for students
in all majors for work in private business, government or non-profits.
It also prepares students to understand and be successful in an increasingly
globalized world.
