Software Engineering

Software engineers are in high demand. Iowa State University is one of the few universities in the nation to offer a software engineering degree with courses in both computer science and computer engineering.

With a software engineering major from Iowa State, you can use your expertise in computer science, engineering and math to design, develop and evaluate software for companies that configure and install computer systems.

Your coursework will train you to adjust your skills as technology changes as you work as members of teams to create new products.
