Why I chose Iowa State: I decided to attend Iowa State because I didn't know what I wanted to major in and they had a lot of different options.

What I like best about ISU: I especially like the intramurals and club options that ISU offers. I also like how it has a close-knit feel; if a person is ever having trouble or anything there are a lot of people willing to help.

My first day of classes at Iowa State: My first day at Iowa State started off kind of scary because I didn't want to look like a typical freshman - lost and easily picked out of the crowd, but it truly wasn't all that bad. I went the Sunday before classes began and found all of the buildings where my classes would be and kind of figured out how I was going to get from one class to the next.

My goals after graduating from ISU: After I graduate from ISU I hope to find a job in motivational speaking, most likely somewhere in Iowa.

Something I didn't expect I'd do at ISU: Something that has happened to me at Iowa State that I wasn't expecting was that I became really involved on the campus. I never knew it was so easy to be more than a student at Iowa State.
