At the home of the digital computer you can take advantage of two new majors. Software engineering combines the expertise of our faculty with hands-on experience. And our bioinformatics and computational biology program gives you the knowledge of how to interpret biological data.
At Iowa State you can learn to chase storms or hone your skills as a television meteorologist. Or learn chemistry or physics as an undergraduate lab assistant. You can even spend the summer at a geology field camp immersed in that major. All are possible with Iowa State's physical sciences majors.
