College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

Why I chose Iowa State:
I decided to come to Iowa State because I didn't know what I wanted to major in, and I knew that whatever major I decided to pursue Iowa State would have that major. I fell in love with how beautiful the campus was when I came for a visit.

What I like best about ISU: My favorite part about ISU is the people. There are so many diverse types of people that I probably wouldn't have met if I hadn't come to ISU.

Favorite spot on campus: My favorite place on campus is sitting in Cyclone Alley at Hilton Coliseum. I love watching the ISU basketball teams play and I love the excitement that you feel when surrounded by other students cheering on the Cyclones.

My goals after graduating from ISU: My goal is to either attend medical school or a physicians assistant program.

Something I didn't expect I'd do at ISU: I wasn't expecting to get involved on campus as quickly as I have. I thought that I would let my freshman year go by and see what is going on without getting too involved, but I became involved with a variety of campus groups. Getting involved my freshman year has been a great way for me to meet new people and try new things that I wouldn't have done before.
