Brazil Program Prerequisites and Criteria for Student Selection

To be accepted into the program students must have:

• An overall GPA of 2.5 or greater.
• Completed the application for the program and submitted it by the by the deadline.
• Two letters of recommendation from persons who can comment on the student's ability to succeed in a foreign country and adjust to another culture.
• Consultation with the student's academic adviser.
• An interview with the program directors.

The program is open to university students of any age in any discipline. Ideally, students in the program will represent a wide variety of disciplines as well as ethnic backgrounds.
