Lois Whetstone Foot graduated in 1944 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics Child Development. Following graduation she and Benjamin Foot, an Iowa State College engineering graduate, were married at her parents' home near Casey, Iowa.
Their children are Claudia and Paula. They live in southern California. Each has a college degree.
Lois and Ben lived in Denver, Colorado, for a number of years. Lois taught home economics.
The family moved to Northridge, California. Lois continued to teach home economics to inner city students. Ben was employed in the aircraft industry until his retirement.
Lois always had an enthusiastic spirit about her family and community. She and Ben enjoyed travel in retirement. They returned to ISU for his 50th class reunion in 1992. 7/1/96 |
