| Susan E. Marsh Omaha, Nebraska Brick Section F - Row 21 |
Susan Blumenschein Marsh, Family Environment 1971, has developed her talents in many ways. Creative ideas percolate in her mind and drip from her fingers. As a little girl she made intricate furniture and accessories for her Storybook dolls. (Slippers from almond shells?) Later, her love of flowers led her from transplanting seedlings as teen-age greenhouse helper to becoming wedding designer for a florist. She teaches china painting, paints tiles for interior designers, rings handbells. As residence manager and
bookstore supervisor of a college of nursing, she has used her managerial skills, while keeping her own family on an even keel. With her clear thinking and articulate speech (Sue's never at a loss for words) she has the ability to recognize a problem and offer friendly, appropriate, right-to-the-point suggestions for its solution.
Susan moves through life recognizing its pleasures, facing its difficulties - all with confidence, optimism and a smile. We honor her for the joy she brings to her world and to our family. 7/1/96 |
