Jean A. Gauger

Knoxville, Tennessee

Brick Section G - Row 3

Jean A. Gauger '76, Ph.D. '84

Jean Gauger was an honor student throughout elementary and secondary education in the Ames Public Schools as well as undergraduate and graduate work at Iowa State University.

Her professional career has included serving briefly as Extension Home Economist with the University of Missouri as well as briefly on the Economics faculty at Iowa State University. Since 1985 she has been a member of the Economics faculty at University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The quest for knowledge, the joy of learning, the pursuit of excellence combined with a growing interest in hiking and back packing in the Great Smokies would suggest that symbolically Jean's theme song is "Clumb Every Mountain". 3/2/95
