Patricia Walsh Ames, Iowa Brick Section G - Row 8
Patricia Ann Walsh was born December 14, 1953 to Angela Mary Schreck Walsh and Donald Emmet Walsh. She grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and attented St. Joseph's Academy. In 1972 Patricia enrolled in Iowa State University. She obtained a B.S. degree in 1976 and began teaching in early childhood special education. After working several years Patricia came back to obtain a master's degree at ISU. She continued to work in the public sector as an early childhood special education teacher. Patricia was employed by ISU in 1988 as an instructor in early childhood special education teacher training and supervision. Patricia married Donald Walter Haugo on September 5, 1993. They have two adopted sons. As a mom, she continues teaching good values and responsibility to her family. 2/20/95
