Jane Roules Jacobson Ames, Iowa Brick Section G - Row 21
We wish to honor our daughter, Jane Roules Jacobson, by placing her name in the "Plaza of Heroines". Jane grew up in Mediapolis, Iowa, where she was active in school, church and community. She graduated at the top of the Mediapolis High School’s Class of 1972. Jane entered Iowa State University in September 1972, and graduated in June 1976 with a BA in History. While at Iowa State, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. For the next four years, 1976-1980, Jane taught in the Perry High School. She then entered the University of Iowa, where she earned an MA in History in June 1982. She returned to Iowa State in the Fall of 1982 and took a position as Academic Adviser in Liberal Arts and Sciences. At this writing, (December 1994), she is still there. We are proud of our daughter and her accomplishments, and we are happy to have the opportunity to honor her in this way. Fred and Margaret Roules 12/20/94
