Alice Palubinskas

Dr. Alice Palubinskas was the first woman to hold a faculty appointment in Psychology at Iowa State. She earned her doctorate at Iowa State University in 1952 following a BS degree from State College at Salem, Massachusetts and a MAT from Harvard University.

Dr. Palubinskas taught in psychology at Iowa State College during the academic year 1951-1952. She left Iowa State with her husband and continued her distinguished scholarly and teaching career at Tufts University in Medford Massachusetts. She has specialized in psychological statistics, mental tests and measurements, and research design. 7/1/96
