Under her guidance she organized observances of the Great American Smoke-Out, World Health Day, World AIDS Day, Alcohol Awareness Week, Condom Week, and Safe Spring Break. She supervised numerous health educator interns and was faculty advisor to the Student Health Advisory Committee for 14 ½ years.
