Our Heroine
Frances Anne Williams Mason
We admire her ongoing dedication and service to the poor and hungry in her community of Kalamzazoo, Michigan.
She believes: "In this world of plenty, no one should be hungry."
Frances was a 2nd generation graduate of Iowa State in 1947 College of Home Economics. As her daughters, we continued the tradition.
Anne Mason Kamiri - class of 1974, College of Science & Humanities, French & International Studies.
Martha I. (Mason) Martin - class of 1976 College of Home Economics, Child Development.
We each have our oldest child enrolled this Fall 2002 as freshman at Iowa State.
