My mother deserves a place in the Plaza of Heroines because of the values she has taught me; the love and encouragement she has given me, and the sacrifices she has made to make my success possible. Her career has been spent in the medical profession as a medical technologist, providing care to children in a pediatric clinic. She has helped care for thousands of children in her career. She has always been dedicated to her work and her family. While she raised me, she also cared for her mother and made sure that her quality of life was maintained. She has taught me about the gifts of love and loyalty, which has allowed me to share these gifts with others. 10/18/94
