 | Lorene Cummer Gansemer Balltown, Iowa Brick Section C - Row 4 |
| As the oldest of eleven children, Lorene Cummer Gansemer learned quickly the importance of responsibility and teamwork in getting things done efficiently. In partnership with her husband, she worked on a family farm and was the mother of three daughters and two sons. As a grandmother, Lorene was always waiting with Pepsi and cookies for her real and "adopted" grandchildren. Her support, caring, and sense of humor was a role model for what family should be. She passed away in 1991 but her spirit is alive as brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, and cousins continue to get together and celebrate family over the holidays. 5/94 |
