I want to honor my mother, Joyce Harry, because she has been such a force in my life. My mother is loving, intelligent, and supportive. It seems that she can calm my fears and help me to find an answer to the problems that seem overwhelming. My mother is the reason I am who I am; without her influence in my life, I would not be ambitious or proud of being a woman. My mother provided me with a role model that enabled me to achieve good things and aspire to better things. I want people to know that she is cherished and loved by her family and especially her daughter. 3/18/94
