Rowena Adams Lamb

Rowena Adams Lamb came to Iowa State in the early 1920's, contracted flu, then scarlet fever and spent several weeks in the infirmary before returning home. She subsequently obtained a normal school teaching certificate and taught in rural Monona County schools and the Bronson public school. She has shown a life-long warmth and friendship to people of all ages. Born October 17, 1904, she will celebrate her 90th birthday this fall. 5/20/94
