Tina Marie Cann was born May 13, 1961, in Davenport, Iowa. She is the youngest in a family of 4 sisters and 1 brother, who reside in Bettendorf. Tina graduated from Bettendorf High Shool in 1979.
On June 28, 1980, Tina and Bill Bates were married in Bettendorf.
In a time when many women choose to work outside the home, Tina has chosen the career of a full-time homemaker to nurture, strengthen, and inspire the lives of her four children -- Kelley, Laura, Katie, and Hannah. She has been active in PTA
and school affairs and serves as a Girl Scout leader.
Tina Bates is also a seasonal interior decorator for a national chain of fast food restaurants. |
