    TAKE THE "INTERPERSONAL DIVIDE" CHALLENGE
    An interactive survey is on-line and asks students about their technology use during classes at Iowa State including making a cell phone call, instant messaging, social networking and checking e-mail.

    The survey is being conducted by Michael Bugeja, professor and director of the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication, who will speak on this area including results of this on-line survey during the spring 2007 Presidential University Lecture Wednesday, April 4, at 8 p.m. in the Memorial Union Sun Room.

    ACADEMIC NEWS
    GRADUATION AWARDS CEREMONY - The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences asks that all its graduating seniors attend Iowa State's graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 5, at 1:30 p.m. in Hilton Coliseum. LAS does not hold an individual graduation ceremony for its students.

    Two Graduation Awards Ceremonies will be held for students graduating from the Honors Program and/or with distinction (3.5 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the 2006 Fall Semester). The ceremonies will be held Friday, May 4, at 4 & 5:30 p.m. in Fisher Theater. Students eligible for this ceremony should go-line to determine which ceremony they should attend.

    CAREER SERVICES
    FINE DINING - LAS Career Services will be offering an etiquette dinner for students interested in learning the finer points of dining as part of the job search and interview process Tuesday, April 10, from 3:10-5 p.m. in the Campanile Room of the Memorial Union. The program includes a complete dinner during which presenter Callista Gould will discuss table manners, place settings, host/guest protocol, restaurant etiquette, alcohol do and don'ts, interviews and dining with prospective employers. Registration is necessary by April 4 at lascs@iastate.edu.

    ACADEMIC HONORS - Several students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences were recognized Sunday, March 25, during an Iowa State ceremony in Stephens Auditorium.

    MASTERWORKS CONCERT - The Iowa State choral ensembles, including the Iowa State Singers, Lyrica, Cantamus and Statesmen, will present the annual Masterworks Concert Thursday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Stephens Auditorium.
