Wind Ensemble in concert Sunday, April 26

AMES, Iowa -- The Iowa State University Wind Ensemble will perform a concert on Sunday, April 26, at 1:30 p.m. in the Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall in Music Hall.

Under the direction of Michael Golemo, the 60-member band will be presenting a wide variety of musical selections, including works by Igor Stravinsky, William Walton, Derek Bourgeois, Roger Cichy and Frank Ticheli.

Burton Hable, a junior music major from Ankeny, will guest conduct "Bugs" by composer Roger Cichy, who served as associate director of bands at ISU from 1986-1995.

Admission is free.
