Boston Brass joins ISU Wind Ensemble for performance

The musical quintet Boston Brass will join the Wind Ensemble at Iowa State University for a special concert Sunday, March 30.
The performance will be held at the Ames City Auditorium beginning at 3 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and are available at the door.
Boston Brass has pioneered a new generation of music that sets out to entertain at all costs with blistering precision. The ensemble's lively repartee, touched with humor and personality, bridges the vast ocean of classical formality to delight audiences with a performance of boisterous fun.

Boston Brass performs over 100 concerts annually. They have been featured on National Public Radio, The CBS Early Show and have recorded several groundbreaking albums.
The ISU Wind Ensemble is directed by Michael Golemo, chair of the Department of Music and director of bands.
