Nominations sought for Catt Center calendar

The Catt Associates, a student organization affiliated with the Catt Center for Women and Politics, is seeking nominations for their third annual calendar Women Impacting ISU.

The calendar is a tribute to students, faculty and staff who have distinguished themselves through outstanding accomplishments which have impacted Iowa State. The 12 women selected will be from a wide variety of disciplines and diverse backgrounds, representing the achievements made by women throughout the many facets of the University.

"The calendar is designed to showcase these women's accomplishments and inspire women of all generations to take on challenges and have a continuing impact on the University," said Chris Fowler of the Catt Center.

A nomination form is available on-line at www.las.iastate.edu/CattCenter/NominationForm.doc. Nominations are due to 309 Catt Hall by Friday, Sept. 12.

The Women Impacting ISU calendar is sponsored by Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the Catt Associates student leadership organization and funded by a mini-grant from the Women's Enrichment Fund, administered by the Women's Leadership Consortium. Catt Associates is funded by GSB.

More than 2000 calendars will be distributed throughout campus.
