    AWARDS NOMINATIONS
    Nominations for College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Iowa State University faculty and staff awards are due in the LAS Dean's Office (202 Catt Hall) by Wednesday, January 16. All awards nominations must go through the LAS Awards Committee and should not be submitted directly to the Provost Office. Nomination guidelines and awards criteria are available on-line.

    WOMEN IMPACTING ISU CALENDAR
    Twelve women whose leadership has made a difference at Iowa State will be honored by the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics on the second annual "Women Impacting ISU" calendar. Six Iowa State students and six faculty and staff members are included on this year's calendar, which will be unveiled during a reception Friday, January 18, in the Memorial Union's Campanile Room beginning at 3:30 p.m.

    The ambiance of a festive Renaissance English court will come alive with graceful dancers, playful jesters, strolling musicians, frolicking fools and gallivanting wenches during the Department of Music's 43rd annual Madrigal Dinners Friday and Saturday, January 18-19, in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union.
