Flute trios headline Scholarship Musicales
- Iowa State University's Department of Music has one remaining Scholarship
Musicales in March.
"An Evening of Enchanting Flute Trios" will be held Thursday,
March 31, at 7:30 p.m. This unusual combination of instruments features
Sonja Giles, flute; George Work, cello; and Andrew Adams, piano, as they
perform works by French, British and Argentinean composers.
Tickets to the annual event are $30 per person and are available through
mail-in reservations. Reservations will be honored in order of receipt until
each event is filled. A limited number of spaces are available. Proceeds
from the Scholarship Musicales go toward establishing scholarships within
the Department of Music.
