	The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will hold its Spring 2008 Graduation Ceremony Friday, May 9, at 8 p.m. in Hilton Coliseum. This is a cap and gown ceremony during which all LAS graduates in attendance will be formally and individually recognized. A reception for the graduates and their guests will be held immediately after the ceremony on the main Hilton concourse. Steffen Schmidt, University Professor of political science, will be the faculty speaker. Chris Rieser, a senior psychology and political science major, will deliver the student address.LAS graduating seniors planning to participate in the LAS graduation ceremony should contact Dave Gieseke at dgieseke@iastate.edu or 294-7742..
