Emeritus pair win international awards
Two emeritus professors in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences have been recognized by Phi Beta Delta with the 2008 Learning Abroad Leadership Award.
Warren Dolphin, University Professor of genetics, development and cell biology, and Carl Bleyle, professor of music, have received the new award, which recognizes outstanding leadership and contributions to education abroad at Iowa State.
Dolphin for years ran study abroad programs to Australia while Bleyle still coordinates the LAS "Semester in Florence" and "Tones of Florence" programs.
