Panel discussion looks at promotion and tenure

The fourth and final faculty workshop sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will be held Wednesday, April 16.

"Maintaining Excellence Beyond P&T" will be held in the Gallery of the Memorial Union from 3:10-4:30 p.m. The roundtable discussion will look at promotion for associate professors. Discussion topics will focus on the road to promotion to full professor including criteria, position responsibilities, demonstrating impact and national visibility, research and institutional service, and timeline.

Panelists include Elizabeth Hoffman, executive vice president and provost, LAS Dean Michael Whiteford and LAS associate deans. Interested faculty may register by e-mailing Laura Engelson at lge@iastate.edu.
