U.S. foreign policy explored in political science panel
Faculty members in the Department of Political Science will explore "U.S.
Foreign Policy after the Mid-term Elections" in a panel discussion on Thursday,
Nov. 9.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union and
is sponsored by the Department of Political Science and the Committee on Lectures,
which is funded by GSB.
The panel will include:
- James McCormick, professor and chair of the Department
of Political Science. McCormick is the author of American Foreign Policy
and Process and co-editor of Domestic Sources of American Foreign
Policy.
- Richard Mansbach, professor of political science. Mansbach
is the author and co-author of a number of books including The Global
Puzzle: Issues and Actors in World Politics; Politics: Authority, Identities
and Change; and The State, Conceptual Chaos, and the Future of International
Relations.
- Dianne Bystrom, director of the Carrie Chapman Catt Center
for Women and Politics. Bystom is author and contributor to many books including
Gender and Candidate Communication.
