    FEATURED STUDENTS
SEEKING PROFESSIONAL HELP - More than anything else, Ellis Ott wanted to move back to his hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska to work. He knew because of the limited amount of job opportunities in the city, he had to make every opportunity count. So he sought professional help and the assistance he received from the LAS Office of Career Services helped get him that job.

FARMER SONG - Joe Hynek has been described as a Renaissance man. His "Solarjo Power Purse" invention has been mentioned in newspapers and magazines around the world. But Joe now has another claim to fame. A musical he wrote, "Farmer Song," has won second place in the National Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival playwright competiton.
