ISU Chemist Pat Thiel honored by American Physical Society

AMES, Iowa – The American Physical Society has awarded the 2010 David Adler Lectureship Award to Iowa State University Distinguished Professor of Chemistry Patricia Thiel.

The Award recognizes Thiel as an outstanding contributor to the field of materials physics through her contributions to surface structure and dynamics of complex metallic alloys. The Adler Award will be presented to Thiel at the APS March 2010 meeting in Portland, Ore.
