Three ISU students awarded prizes for Western European Studies Program
essay contest

Three students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State
University have been awarded prizes for the second annual Western European
Studies Program essay contest.
Megan Eagen, a senior physics major, earned first place for her essay
"Inherited and Intrinsic Key Significance in the Late Works of Johann
Sebastian Bach"
Two honorable mention prizes of $50 each were awarded to Brent Biggs,
junior history major, and Erin Campbell, a senior biochemistry major.
Second and third place were awarded to senior history majors Brent Biggs
("Britannia Sancta: Romano-British Christianity and the Anglo-Saxon
Conversion, 284-375,") and Nathan Sole ("Three Men and Their
People: The Battle of Chalons").
