Milianna Nadine Harrison Carlson is my daughter. She is a living representative of womanhood, of all the hours of efforts the thousands of people before us who have made her life as it is possible in America. I look at my child, barely four years old, and I see mirrored Eva, Julia, and Colleen-all the wonderful, strong women pioneers in our family. What a glorious time to celebrate life as a woman! Our spirits are strong and loving. Milianna's presence has enriched my life, changed me for the better, and inspired me to continue to learn and grow each day. And so I honor this young person for her daily contributions to my life. God bless her and shower her with the riches I have enjoyed as a woman.
