LAS International Programs cabinet is organized into four Committees. These committees have intersecting missions and share a set of common goals and objectives. Committee chairs meet together to discuss items of mutual interest and pursue strategies of common concern.

“International Studies Committee”

Designs and oversees the curricular integrity of the undergraduate major and minor in International Studies.

“Study Abroad Committee”

Promotes faculty and student participation in international programs and assists faculty in organizing these ventures.

“Exchange Agreements Committee”

Monitors, tracks and assess the types of memoranda of agreements we have with different international institutions and provides information to faculty and departments that wish to establish these types of accords.

“Research/Outreach Committee”

Promotes international research and outreach by assisting in locating sources of funding, suggesting methods for institutional and international collaboration, and (in conjunction with other committees) promoting symposia and visiting lectures on topics of mutual interest.
