LAS Student Council Meeting Minutes

            1. Treasurer
                        1. Budget: $$13,071.86.
            1. GSB
                        1. Special allocations are coming up; Note that the LAS Council doesn't like the Art on Campus resolution, supports the Save Cy resolution; City Council will be meeting with GSB tonight, 6:30 for reception, 7:00 for meeting.

IV. Old Business                       
            1. Dean Whiteford will now be coming on Nov. 28 - he had to reschedule. We will be having pizza/pop when he does come.
            2. Homecoming - LAS Thursday, October 18 - LAS is sponsoring food on campus - there are games on Central Campus as well.  If you get a button for $4.00 you can eat free the whole week. Political  Science club would like to do a game-type poll for the election; will see about getting a booth for their club.

V. New Business

            2. Open forum
                        1. English club went on hiatus for a while - are back, have free pizza every meeting, don't have to like English or books to come - Papa Johns pizza, they talk about random stuff and are looking into movies and other things this year - they are restructuring, so you can have more input.  Having a meeting every Thursday night @ 5:00 in Ross Hall room 406.  If interested, e-mail our VP.
                        2. On every other Thursday night at 6:00 get more food from the Political Science club.
                        3. Allocation process - we get all of your forms, then allocate money -  about 55% of money was given out to clubs last year. Forms due on November 7th - Execs are meeting on November 14th to work it out.  Then on November 28th, we'll show formula for it so you can approve the formula.
