Math assessments

Math assessments are given online before you come to orientation. Take these at a personal computer- from home, or school, or the public library. A Broadband/DSL connection is highly recommended for this site. Once you have made your reservation for orientation, you will receive a confirmation letter from the college of Liberal Arts & Sciences. This letter will indicate if you should take the math placement assessments based on your intended major and your ACT or SAT scores.

Step 1: Get your ISUCard number.

Go to AccessPlus

  • Log in
  • Find your entire ISUCard number. See where in AccessPlus you will find you ISUCard number. PDF Version
  • Write down the whole number- all 17 digits, for step 2.

Step 2: Get your NetID.

Go to Acropolis:

  • Click on Register to create your NetID.
  • Fill in the required information including your ISUCard Number.
  • Click the “Next” button.
  • Write down your NetID and password – you’ll need them for the next step.

Allow up to 24 hours for your NetID to be activated before going on to Step 3!

Step 3: Take your math assessments online.

Go to WebCt:

  • Log in using your NetID and your password.
  • Complete practice questions and assessments as directed.
