Kris Gerhard
Women's Studies Bibliographer Associate professor / library collections officer ISU Library kgerhard@iastate.edu Kris Gerhard is the former bibliographer for Women's Studies at the Iowa State University Library. She is currently Professor and Associate Dean for Collections and Technical Services, with oversight of librarians and library staff selecting, acquiring, and cataloging all library materials. She has a Master of Library Science degree as well as an MA in education, specifically, French-English bilingual education. Her research interest is information access for interdisciplinary subjects, focusing on women's studies scholars and students and their research needs. She is a past chair of the Association of College and Research Libraries' Women's Studies Section, and currently chairs on their Research Committee. |
