Rita Marinko
Associate professor of library science

Rita Marinko, Associate Professor, has served as the bibliographer/selector for Sociology and Psychology for 5 years. In addition to these disciplines she will now also serve as the bibliographer for Women's Studies; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Studies; and Anthropology.

Ms. Marinko has a Master of Science in Women's Studies from Minnesota State University at Mankato and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

She has written articles on alternative press journals in academic libraries and on the usage of women's studies journals in dissertations. Her current research is focused in several areas: citation accuracy; peace journals in academic libraries; alternative press journals in public libraries; content analysis of dissertations as a tool for collection development; and, book reviews of women's studies monographs.
